Use Aquatabs with fresh water sources above 40°F (4°C). If the water is cloudy or contains sediment, filter it through a clean cloth before treatment. Select the appropriate tablet size for your volume, typically 49mg for a half-gallon or 397mg for 4 gallons.
Add the tablet to your water and stir or shake until dissolved. You must wait 30 minutes for the purification process to eliminate all harmful microorganisms. After this time, your water is fully disinfected and clean to drink.
