Stable Bleaching Powder (SBP)

Advance Chemicals produces Stable Bleaching Powder (SBP) is manufactured by reacting lime with liquid chlorine, a co-product of our chlor-alkali process. SBP contains approximately 35% available chlorine.

How it’s made

SBP is produced through the chlorination of high-grade hydrated lime. The resulting compound, calcium hypochlorite, is the active ingredient responsible for its bleaching and disinfecting properties.
